The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

I graduated Penn State in May 2005 with dual Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Medieval Studies and English and dual minors in Philosophy and History. After graduation I moved to DC where I worked in retail while obtaining a security clearance. In December 2005 I was contracted to work as an Investigator for the United States Government. I married my long-time best friend and fellow PSU graduate, E.J. Van Istendal, in April 2007. Christmas 2010 my first book "Thirteen Years of Christmas" will be published, available from Amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com and borders.com as well as various other locations. I will always consider Penn State to be one of my homes. I wrote five of the Christmas stories in my upcoming book while attending university. I fell in love with my best friend. We each reach a point in our lives when we decide who we will become, when we choose the path we will walk and whether we will travel it in light or in darkness. I made that choice at Penn State and for that alone it will always be special to me. For my professors, fellow alumni and all future Penn Staters: May the Blessings of Christmas be upon you and all those you love, forever.
